Blog. New Ambassadors Announcement

March 14, 2023 | Author Giuliana Vittiglio

At Hospitality Action we receive no government funding, every penny spent on our beneficiaries must be earned. We’re lucky to work in partnership with hundreds of operators, suppliers and institutional funders who want to recognise the joy hospitality brings to their lives. We’re also extremely fortunate to work alongside a league of over 100 generous Ambassadors who use their influence and reputation to raise awareness, fundraise and champion our mental health output.

Ambassadors include Joanne Taylor-Stagg, General Manager, The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences who is taking part in two epic cycling adventures this year, Bike 2 Care and the Master Innholders cycle challenge sponsored by Hatch Mansfield, Rachael Stevens, Rooms Division Manager, Pennyhill Park, who is crucial to the organisation of the Walk for Wellbeing and Craig Bancroft, Managing Director, Northcote Hotel Ltd - A Stafford Collection Hotel who’s Obsession Food Festival has raised over £345,000 since 2009.

This spring we are thrilled to announce an additional 12 Ambassadors from across the sector to our stronghold.

The new cohort comprises of:

“I am honoured to have been asked to support Hospitality Action as an Ambassador. The work they do to support hospitality people across the UK is awe-inspiring, and I feel privileged to play my part. Whether volunteering my time or encouraging others to lend a hand, I am committed to raising awareness for this crucial cause and making the industry a happier place to work in. It’s important that hospitality leaders and aspiring leaders alike give their time to help give back to our beloved industry in any way we can, especially a charity that does so much for us all.”

Jon Croft, Publisher, Jon Croft Editions and Publisher at Large, Bloomsbury Lifestyle says:

"As a publisher of chef cookery books whose authors stretch back to Keith Floyd in the early 1980’s to Tom Kerridge and Angela Hartnett in the present, the singularly wonderful world of Hospitality has been my work and my passion for over forty years. So to be an Ambassador for the incomparable Hospitality Action is a great honour. Together we hope to develop a publishing programme that will generate income to help and transform the lives of those in need in the industry."

As a charity, and as individuals, we value and appreciate the support of our Ambassadors more than we can express. To view our full list of Ambassadors, click here and to learn how you can become an Ambassador please get in touch.
