Get involved. Support Hospitality Action with Pennies micro-donations.
Every day, thousands of hospitality workers face financial hardship. With Pennies, your business can help effortlessly by giving customers the option to round up their bill with a few digital pennies at checkout in support of Hospitality Action.
This September, we’re calling on hospitality operators across the country to invite their customers and guests to round up their bills via Pennies, helping fund Hospitality Action’s vital work supporting people across our industry.
Talk to the Fundraising team with details of your business, and whether you are an existing Pennies partner or new to micro-donations. We’ll then organise a call to discuss next steps, and introduce you to Pennies if necessary.
Pennies integrates with your existing payment provider, with no operational disruption.
Micro‑donations are loved by customers; over 300 million have already chosen to give.
The donation prompt appears automatically; no awkward conversations needed.
Show your customers you care about the people behind the industry.
Why Hospitality Action should be your charity partner.
Every day, people in hospitality go above and beyond for others. When life takes an unexpected turn, Hospitality Action is there to support them.
Tatiana, a restaurant manager, came to us seeking help to replace a broken dishwasher. But when we spoke to her, we discovered a far greater need.
After contracting severe malaria on a dream trip to Angola, Tatiana developed sepsis and blood poisoning. To save her life, doctors had to amputate all four of her limbs. Following weeks in an induced coma and a long rehabilitation journey, she faced the challenge of rebuilding her life from scratch.
Determined to return to work and dance again, Tatiana needed advanced prosthetic limbs that would give her the mobility and independence she longed for. A crowdfunding campaign organised by her employer raised most of the money needed, but there was still a £20,000 shortfall. Hospitality Action stepped in to bridge the gap, helping Tatiana regain her freedom, return to work, and get back to doing what she loves.
Stories like Tatiana's are only possible because businesses choose to support Hospitality Action.

The winter months are always the worst for families living in poverty with many forced to choose between food or fuel, eating or heating.
Our annual Winter Fuel Grant scheme aims to ensure that as many hospitality households are saved this stark choice. With the funds raised from our partnership with Pennies, we’ll be able to award many more Winter Fuel Grants and ensure that more families can stay warm and put food on the table, despite soaring energy bills.
How Pennies works.
