Get Involved. Host Your Own Event.
Putting on a special event is a great way to celebrate our diverse and vibrant industry.
We’ve seen supporters host quizzes, festivals, bingo and virtual cook-a-longs in our name. Money can be raised via ticket sales, donations, raffles or auctions. If possible we love to come along to talk about our work or send case studies for you to share with your guests.
From pop-ups, guest chef nights, golf days, drinks receptions and cookery classes, the choice is yours.
When working on your event, it’s always worth setting a fundraising goal and planning how to get there. Keep your target audience in mind and establish a theme to help attract as many people as possible. Network as much as you can to increase attendance and share news of your event across social media, tagging us in at the same time. And remember we’re here to help every step of the way!

Case Study: The Great Coast-to-Coast Charity Dinner
This special event took place at The Alverton, part of the Cornwall Hotel Collection, in the heart of Truro and raised a spectacular £16,000. In a true celebration of everything Cornwall’s coastline has to offer, the event saw more than a dozen leading chefs from all corners of the region come together to cook a gastronomic, five-course dinner celebrating some of the county’s finest ingredients and produce for 120 lucky guests, all to raise vital funds for our work.

Case Study: The Belfry Classic Golf Day
The Belfry’s inaugural Charity Golf Day was the perfect blend of golf and networking, raising over £40,000.
Sponsors included Elliott Group Construction and Turkish Airlines, with Dan Walker hosting the evening and Chef Tom Shepherd serving an exquisite meal, highlighted by his winning dish from The Great British Menu 2023, the unforgettable Bananaman-inspired dessert, 'No Ordinary Schoolboy.'

Case Study: Harborne Kitchen x Tonic Talent
In honour of ‘Walk for Wellbeing’ Harborne Kitchen in Birmingham teamed up with recruitment agency Tonic Talent to host a memorable Sunday roast, raising £4,500.
Guests enjoyed a five-course meal with drinks for £75, while the event brought together local hospitality professionals in a spirit of community and generosity. A raffle, with prizes donated by sponsors, helped boost the fundraising.
