Join us at the prestigious Beaufort Polo Club, home to the renowned Tomlinson polo dynasty, for an unforgettable day of sport and culinary excellence. Six acclaimed chefs, led by Hywel Jones, will craft a stunning four-course lunch, complemented by fine wines and rounded off with a traditional cream tea.

The day’s highlights include a Taittinger and canapé reception, an exciting polo demonstration, a thrilling match, and a meticulously curated four-course meal paired with wonderful wines. A perfect blend of elegance, indulgence, and sporting tradition awaits.

Meet The Chefs.

Chris honed his exceptional cooking skills as the protégé of a trio of world-renowned Michelin star chefs: Heston Blumenthal OBE (Fat Duck at Bray), Michael Caines MBE (Gidleigh Park) and Adam Simmonds (Danesfield House).

Chris has drawn influence from these culinary masters to create his own exciting style.

John started cooking at Calcot's Conservatory in 2005, before heading to London under Gordon Ramsay Holdings at Maze, Jason Atherton Mayfair restaurant. He then moved to The Lucky Onion group before returning to The Calcot Collection and later joining Barnsley House.

Moving full circle John returned to Calcot as Executive Chef in early 2024.

Hywel has been awarded numerous accolades at Lucknam Park including a Michelin star. Hywel’s previous experience includes working as Chef de Partie in two Michelin 3-star establishments; Chez Nico at 90 and Marco Pierre White.

He also earned a Michelin star at Foliage restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.

As Culinary Instructor, Chef Michael Nizzero leads the day-to-day running of the Alain Roux Culinary School. A Michelin-starred chef with international experience from Dubai to France and the UK, Michael works closely with Alain Roux on events and promotions, bringing exceptional skill, teaching passion, and multilingual expertise to every programme.

Elly boasts a natural, instinctive talent, honed in some of the South West’s most renowned kitchens; currently at Fowlescombe Farm. A familiar face to many, Elly is known for her precise yet honest approach to cooking, something that has been professionally recognised in her achievements as a finalist on MasterChef: The Professionals and in representing the South West three times on the Great British Menu.

Dean Westcar is an award-winning chef trained at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa under Hywel Jones. A National Chef of the Year finalist and Acorn Award recipient, he now serves as Executive Head Chef at Dumbleton Hall Hotel, championing seasonal British produce, classical technique, and exacting kitchen standards.
