August 12, 2026 | Author Giuliana Vittiglio

Walk for Wellbeing, our annual nationwide campaign, is all about coming together to support better mental wellbeing across the hospitality industry, and we couldn’t do it without the support of our fantastic sponsors. Since 2020, this inclusive event, powered by hospitality talent and recruitment partner mum has inspired thousands across the industry to get involved and has become a force for positive change. We caught up with supporting sponsors Caterer.com, Imperial London Hotels, HR in Hospitality and Nespresso to find out why they’re getting behind Walk for Wellbeing, what wellbeing means to them and why they believe taking steps together can make a positive difference.

Caterer.com has been a valued sponsor of Walk for Wellbeing for many years. What keeps you coming back to support this event year after year?
"Caterer.com has proudly supported Walk for Wellbeing for many years because it champions something that sits at the heart of hospitality: people. As a business dedicated to connecting hospitality employers with talent, we understand that a thriving industry depends not only on skills and opportunities, but also on the wellbeing of the individuals who make hospitality such a vibrant and rewarding sector.

Walk for Wellbeing creates an important platform for raising awareness of mental health, encouraging open conversations and bringing the industry together behind a shared cause. Each year, we're inspired by the collective commitment shown across hospitality and the positive impact the event delivers. By continuing our support, we hope to help keep wellbeing firmly on the agenda and contribute to building a stronger, more resilient hospitality community for everyone".

HR in Hospitality: Why do you think industry-wide collaboration is so important when it comes to improving wellbeing in hospitality?

"It is vital to prioritise the wellbeing of all of our hospitality employees to ensure they are happy and healthy as it has been proven they will be more productive and provide a greater customer experience. What better way to do that than spend time outdoors connecting with nature and colleagues, sharing stories and fostering positive relationships with like minded people. Building resilience is essential not only for individuals and teams but for organisation success too and this matters in HR; we want our people and businesses to thrive not just survive".

How does supporting initiatives like Walk for Wellbeing align with Imperial Hotels London commitment to people, wellbeing and the hospitality community?

"We have been supporting Walk for Wellbeing since 2023 and it's always been a moment for our teams to connect on a personal level, beyond the

job role or function. During the walk, conversations are filled with openness, kindness, and shared life experiences, all of which are the ultimate recipe for meaningful human connection and wellbeing. This, in turn, makes our teams more resilient to what life may throw at them, while also making our industry more mature and stronger. By creating a safe space for people to talk, listen and support one another, we strengthen relationships, foster a sense of belonging and help build a more connected hospitality community".

What inspired Nespresso to support Walk for Wellbeing for the first time this year, and why is employee wellbeing an important focus for your business?

"Nespresso is delighted to be sponsoring Hospitality Action's Walk for Wellbeing for the first time this year, supporting the wellbeing of hospitality professionals across the UK. As a long standing partner in

the hospitality industry, we are passionate about giving back to the people who make it thrive. Hospitality Action plays a vital role in providing care, support and guidance to hospitality professionals, and we are proud to support an organisation that champions the wellbeing of individuals across the sector.

Employee wellbeing is a key focus for Nespresso because we recognise that people perform at their best when they feel supported, valued and able to look after their physical and mental health. The hospitality industry is built on people, and initiatives such as Walk for Wellbeing help raise awareness of the importance of wellbeing while creating opportunities for teams and communities to come together. By supporting Walk for Wellbeing, we hope to encourage open conversations around mental health, promote positive wellbeing practices, and help raise vital funds to support Hospitality Action's important work".
