Blog. Ambassadeurs Group strengthens commitment to HA.

Soaring living costs, rising debt, and precarious employment have created a perfect storm for thousands of hospitality workers, many of whom are facing serious financial and mental health challenges. Without any government funding, our ability to help depends entirely on the generosity of the industry we serve. We’re especially grateful to Ambassadeurs Group who, for the second consecutive year, have selected Hospitality Action as one of their three chosen charities. Their exceptionally generous £40,000 donation in 2026 will help us continue supporting hospitality people when they need us most.

We spoke with Krishna Hathi, Charity Initiatives Advisor at Ambassadeurs Group, to find out why they chose to support Hospitality Action for a second year.

What is it about Hospitality Action's work that resonates most with Ambassadeurs Group?

Hospitality is at the heart of Ambassadeurs Group, and we employ many people who have built their careers within the industry. Hospitality can be so rewarding, but we also recognise the pressures that can sometimes come along. Hospitality Action’s commitment to supporting people at their most vulnerable therefore resonates deeply with us. What particularly stands out is the breadth of its support: not only does the charity provide vital financial assistance, but also offers so many other necessary support services.

By treating every person with dignity and helping them find a way forward, Hospitality Action provides a lifeline for the people who make the industry what it is, and we wouldn't be here without them. We know that housing insecurity, financial hardship, and mental health challenges continue to affect many working in hospitality. Our continued support ensures that more individuals can access essential funding, guidance, and support when they need it most.

How does supporting Hospitality Action align with Ambassadeurs Group’s values?

We are committed to making a meaningful difference in the communities connected to our people and our business, maximising the impact of our social responsibility efforts and taking responsibility in our industry. We believe Hospitality Action helps us to do exactly that, making a meaningful difference in people's lives, in providing substantial, practical, personalised assistance at the time people need it most. We're truly excited to support in grant giving, as well as partnering with HA's Employee Assistance Programme.

We are incredibly grateful to Ambassadeurs Group for their support. Our CEO Mark Lewis says:

“When you are vulnerable financially or physically it impacts your mental health. Our confidential helpline is there to support people, and we take the time to talk about people’s troubles – we make people feel like human beings. We are here to support and help them find a way through. To do that, we need businesses like Ambassadeurs Group by our side. We’re here for people at their lowest and most vulnerable moments, and partnerships like this help ensure we can continue our essential assistance”.

Heartfelt thanks to Ambassadeurs Group for their generous support and the positive difference this will make to our industry as a whole. To learn about our impact and how the funds will be spent, click here.
