Blog. A month to remember at Hospitality Action.

It's been an extraordinary few weeks at Hospitality Action, and we wanted to take a moment to reflect - and to thank everyone who made it all possible.
Fundraising began in style with The Green & Fortune St Patrick's Day lunch, where we were proud to be named co-beneficiary alongside the London Irish Centre. It was a vibrant celebration of Irish culture and community, setting the tone perfectly for what would become our biggest fundraising week of the year.
The following Monday saw us break new ground with Hospitality Fight Night - a brand new boxing tournament at the Royal National Hotel. It was an adrenaline-fuelled evening, as hospitality heavyweights stepped into the ring to showcase their newly honed boxing skills. The energy in the room was electric, making it not only an unforgettable experience but also a hugely successful fundraiser.

Midweek brought music to the forefront, as our incredible Hospitality Choir took to the stage at the Christmas Party Awards to perform their 2025 debut single. The idea of a hospitality choir had long been a dream for us, and thanks to the support of Tech on Toast, it became a reality. This is just the beginning - we can't wait to share more performances later this year.
On Thursday, the Levy Chefs' Table at the QEII Centre delivered a truly exceptional culinary experience. Guests were seated around a central island kitchen, moving from station to station to witness first-hand the creativity and skill of some of the industry's most talented chefs. Each dish was a testament to their generosity and passion for supporting a great cause.
Then came Friday at the London Hilton on Park Lane for Back to the Floor - without doubt, one of the most special moments in our 189 year history. The lead up had already been incredibly inspiring, with a powerful wave of social media fundraising from across the industry. Seeing so many individuals and businesses come together in support of our mission was nothing short of remarkable.
The evening itself was magical. Food, wine, music, and the very best of hospitality combined to create something truly unforgettable. Guests travelled from across the UK - and even as far as Poland - to be a part of it. Our original target was £300,000, so when the final total was revealed and began with a four, it was almost impossible to believe.

While we celebrate an amazing month of industry support, our work is far from over. Demand for our assistance continues to grow. On the very day of Back to the Floor, our grants team funded a motorised wheelchair for a hospitality worker living with a spinal injury - helping him maintain his independence and continue working.
Every single day, we support people facing unimaginable challenges. And we can only do this because of the generosity, kindness, and compassion of our industry.
From the bottom of our hearts - thank you.
