October 29, 2025

Earlier this week on Monday 27 October, some of the UK's most respected chefs came together for an evening of exquisite food at our glittering Winter Chefs' Dinner dinner at The Chancery Rosewood.

We're delighted to announce that this most spectacular fundraising gala raised an incredible £120,000!

The drinks reception was kindly sponsored by No3 Gin in association with Duke's and Alessandro Palazzi, Berry Bros. & Rudd, Champagne De Saint-Gall and Wild Idol, and the drinks during the meal graciously sponsored by LWC Drinks

Alongside the incredible chefs who joined us for the evening, we extend our heartfelt thanks Vanity Group, a member of La Bottega Collective, for gifting our VIP guests with a luxurious ESPA goodie bag, and to Agilysys for generously sponsoring our lottery, which gave five lucky winners and their guests the chance to attend. We're also deeply grateful to COMO hotels for providing a beautifully paired overnight stay, and to the dedicated Red Carnation Hotels team members who kindly volunteered their time to support the event.

The evening also celebrated three annual award categories. Our 2025 Supporter of the Year Award honours an individual who has shown exceptional dedicated to Hospitality Action, going above and beyond in their support. We were delighted to present this inaugural award to Mark Calver of Hatch Mansfield who has led major fundraising through the Master Innholders Cycle Challenge, Bike to Care Gala and the Summer Cycle Challenge. Mark donates stock, secures sponsorship, contributes auction prizes, inspires participants, and makes valuable industry introductions. As a South West Board Member and Ambassador, Mark is a true Hospitality Action champion.

The Corporate Supporter of the Year Award was presented to the wonderful team at The PIG Hotels. Always ready for a challenge, The PIG team actively show their support through staff participation, prize donations and creative fundraising, including £1-on-the-bill donations raising £30,961 this year alone.

Meanwhile, the William Baxter Outstanding Contribution Award was presented to Northcote by Fiona and Miles Baxter. The award recognised Northcote's extraordinary commitment and generosity towards the charity, having raised over £500,000 since 2009 through its renowned Obsession Food Festival

Big thanks to the team at The Chancery Rosewood - including the chefs and the Events, Conference, and Banqueting teams for creating a spectacular dining experience.

We're deeply grateful to all our guests who supported the evening's fundraising. Your generosity will help bring hope and practical support to thousands of hospitality households in crisis.
