After a three year absence our flagship Back to the Floor gala dinner is set to take place this April. Always a highlight of our fundraising calendar, we are thrilled to return to the world-renowned Royal Lancaster London as over 100 stars of the hotel industry test their silver service skills in recognition of the hard work their tremendous teams carry out on a daily basis. We are indebted to our headline sponsor Caterer.com for supporting the event once more and recently caught up with the team to learn just what Hospitality Action and Back to the Floor means to them.
Q: Why does our industry need a charity like Hospitality Action?
Hospitality Action is a crucial part of the hospitality landscape - a charity that deliverers when hospitality people need help the most and is on hand to offer ongoing long-term or temporary support.
Over the years Hospitality Action has helped thousands of people who work or have worked in the hospitality industry and who have found themselves in difficulty, be that physical illness or mental health issues to financial difficulty, family problems or addiction.
It’s why the work of Hospitality Action is so important. Through support services such as the Hardship Grant, the Golden Friends Scheme and the accessible Employee Assistance Programme, Hospitality Action are supporting and raising people up when they need it most.
Q: Why did Caterer.com decide to sponsor Back to the Floor once again?
Caterer.com is proud to support Back to the Floor 2022. It’s an amazing opportunity to celebrate our hospitality industry, catch up with industry friends and colleagues in a fun environment and most importantly, raise significant funds to support the work that Hospitality Action does for fellow hospitality workers in crisis.
