Blog. Chefs Dinner at Deer Park Country House

We are thrilled to announce that some of the country’s most talented and admired female chefs will come together for the first time to cook up a mouth-watering menu at Deer Park Country House on Monday 6^th March 2023. This special evening will be hosted by Great British Menu (GBM) Chef Jude Kereama of Kota and Kota Kai.

GBM veteran judge Lisa Goodwin-Allen, Executive Chef at Michelin-starred Northcote in Langho, and this year’s winner of the Catey’s Chef Award, will be joined by fellow GBM stars Olivia Barry of Adelina Yard in Bristol, Charlotte Vincent of Hotel Meudon in Maenporth, Falmouth, Cindy Challoner, chef-lecturer at Coleg Gwent and Elly Wentworth of the Angel in Dartmouth. 

The evening will commence with a drink and canapé reception, followed by a truly phenomenal six-course meal with wine including a delicious homemade cheese course prepared by The Newt in Somerset. Guests will have the chance to get their hands on exclusive prizes in the prize draw and auction. Top prizes on offer include a two-night stay at Nathan Outlaw’s Guest House, with dinner at both Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen and Outlaw’s New Road; two tickets to The Newt’s Great Garden Escape; and an overnight stay at Boringdon Hall with dinner and use of the Gaia Spa. The evening will finish with an entertaining Chef Q&A.

Fundraising events such as our guest chef dinner are absolutely critical so that we can help more and more people who have fallen on hard times.”

Jude Kereama, Chef Owner, Kota and Kota Kai said: “I’m honoured to host this extraordinary dinner on behalf of Hospitality Action alongside my fellow Great British Menu chefs. I’m looking forward to delving into their experiences of the show, reflecting on fond memories and creating some more as we fundraise together in aid of our industry charity.”

Since January 2022 we have provided over 1,900 grants to help hospitality families keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. With a challenging 12 months on the horizon, funds raised from this special evening will go directly to everyone who applies for our assistance.
