Six award-winning chefs from the South West came together on Sunday 15th September at Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire to raise over £63,000 for Hospitality Action.

The event, in association with The London Essence Company, saw a record 400 guests attend.  Ounal Bailey, Founder of The London Essence Company said: “At London Essence we are proud to support Hospitality Action. At our heart, we are a brand which thrives on creative collaboration with individuals from the hospitality industry and we believe it is important for us to support initiatives which promote a more connected, diverse and happier hospitality industry”.

The event was catered for by:

Kris Biggs, The Rectory Hotel

Chris Cleghorn, The Olive Tree

Hywel Jones, Lucknam Park

Niall Keating, Whatley Manor

Michael Nizzero, The Bath Priory

Rob Potter, The Manor House

With afternoon tea prepared by The Calcot Hotel and Spa Brigade

Guests enjoyed a Taittinger and canapé reception prior to the final of the Sidebottom Cup and tucked into an outstanding three course lunch sponsored by Ruby & White and Total Produce amongst others. The meal was accompanied with wine kindly donated by Hatch Mansfield. Creed Foodservice and Jongor Hire also helped to make the day possible for which we are hugely grateful.

Hospitality Action is set to host a brand new event which will see three local award-winning chefs at the forefront of the South West food scene take to the helm. The chefs are Josh Eggleton, Jan Ostle and Elliot Lidstone and each will prepare a course at Clevedon Hall in Bristol on the evening of Monday 11th November. Tickets are £95pp and include the drinks and canape reception, half a bottle of wine, coffee and petit fours as well as the three course meal. Find out more and book now.
