News from Hospitality Action

The Langham Hotel’s owner Mr Neil Kirby successfully completed the South Downs Way 50 mile race in aid of Hospitality Action and SimPal. This challenge marked his 50th anniversary year in the hospitality business and was his first 50 mile race. He finished 160th out of 425 runners and completed the race in 9 hours and 45 minutes, which is an astonishing feat considering it is a hilly course climbing over 9000ft, which is very demanding on the body. We are delighted that on top of finishing this challenge he also raised a fantastic £2,500 in total for the two charities.

Neil also kindly hosted a Golden Friends get-together at the Langham recently, which all of our members enjoyed hugely.

Neil’s next challenge is his 17th London Marathon on Sunday 22nd April!
