The surge in demand which started in March 2020 shows no signs of slowing as thousands of hospitality business and their employees struggle to cope with the ongoing cost of living crisis.
At Hospitality Action, we continue to evolve our support to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our sector. Since the start of the pandemic we have supported over 12,000 beneficiaries with over £4m in grants. We have answered tens of thousands of calls to our 24-hour free helplines, and we have significantly upgraded the care we’re able to offer hospitality staff thanks to our gold-standard Employee Assistance Programme.
Every single penny awarded in grants is only possible thanks to the generosity of our donors. Thousands of you have done wonderful things to raise money to support hospitality people facing a once-in-a-generation crisis.
We hope to see the green shoots of recovery in 2024, but the sad reality is that many more hospitality businesses will cease to exist over the coming months, placing livelihoods at risk this winter.
Supporting your industry charity isn’t just great for our beneficiaries, it’s good for your business too because it shows your staff that you take their wellbeing seriously. Participating in a fundraiser like our Summer Challenge or Walk for Wellbeing is a great way to bring your team together, to have fun, and socialise outside of the day-to-day.

Our Employee Assistance Programme provides wrap around care to your employees 24 hours a day every day of the year. The service is open throughout the festive period and your teams can contact us by phone or via WellOnline.
