Hospitality Action is delighted to offer you a great way to start your summer in style. Join us and enjoy a truly spectacular day of polo and a three-course meal at one of the oldest polo clubs in England, Cheshire Polo Club.
Your day will begin by watching a game of polo with gin and tonics, bubbly and canapés on the stunning lawns of the Cheshire Polo Club. You will then be treated to a delicious three-course meal prepared by three top award winning chefs.
The fun continues after the meal as you watch some fantastically fast-paced polo in the exhibition match, followed by an afternoon cream tea to round off the day.
Partner hotels are offering special rates for guests for the Sunday night; details available upon booking.
Ticket includes: Day membership, car pass, polo match and demonstration, drinks and canapé reception, three-course lunch including half a bottle of wine per person, and an afternoon cream tea.

Introducing our chefs
Aiden Byrne – Head Chef and Director, restaurant MCR
Aiden trained and worked in a number of Michelin-starred establishments such as the Chester Grosvenor and Danesfield House and Spa. In 2006, he became the youngest chef ever to earn two Michelin stars whilst at Tom Aikens at Pied A Terre in London. Alongside Aiden’s highly successful restaurant career, he has also been a familiar face on a host of popular culinary television shows such as Masterchef, Great British Menu and The Good Food Show. Aiden’s menus draw on all his culinary prowess & influences to delight diners with the exceptional food that Aiden has become renowned for.
Kevin Lynn – Chef and Owner, Machine House Restaurant
Kevin is the multi award winning Chef and Owner of Machine House restaurant in Rossett, North Wales, awarded restaurant of the year 2018/2019 and 2 AA Rosettes. Machine House has been featured in the Michelin guide since he opened in 2016 and was also awarded best newcomer in 2017. Kevin has gained knowledge and experience whilst working in numerous acclaimed establishments throughout the UK, working for the likes of David Cavalier and Raymond Blanc. At the Machine House Kevin and team always try to deliver a unique and memorable experience for all their guests.
Antony Shirley – Head Chef, El Gato Negro
Holding the title of Lancashire Life Chef of the Year 2017/18, Antony is a highly respected chef with over 20 years’ experience. He began his career at Nutters Restaurant before moving on to the Individual Restaurants Group, Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge and Raffles Hotels & Resorts in the West Indies. Antony set up the Seafood Pub Company to widespread industry acclaim in 2010, before returning to the kitchen at multi award-winning El Gato Negro delivering “the most exciting service yet.”
